Snowfall in Madison
Alas, it's happened again... The snow is falling in Madison.
I've lived in this region for 22 years of my 24 years on Earth...
I should expect this...
But invariably, without exception, without reason, and without hesitation, it evokes a very powerful emotion in me. Dread. With a dash of disgust, and a sprinkling of foreboding.
Last snow season was horrific. The record shattering 100+ inches of snow was back-breaking... Most of the time at 4 in the morning.
And this year it's supposed to be worse, according to the Farmer's Almanac. Whatever stock you put into that.

Though Madison is quite lovely, there are other wonderful places in this great country of ours - where snow is an anomaly not a normality. If you're interested, I've got a suggestion for you.
But when it comes down to it, I believe that buying a snow-blower would be much less expensive than moving. Don't you think?
